Monthly Boxing Magazine Rankings in 1950s
I have a question for you boxing aficionados. This is directly a Title Bout subject but a question for something I'm looking into to do a C&D "old" Title Bout replaying.
Ring Magazines back then I know when they'd publish their monthly rankings in each month's edition, the rankings are for the month that is two months before the published edition they appear in. So for example, the December 1954 Ring, it's rankings are for up through about the middle of October 1954 and so forth each month. They actually give a specific date the rankings up up to for fights completed thru that date, for example that October 1954 is for fights up through October 18th.
My question is in regards to the rankings the Boxing and Wrestling Magazine for that time period that Eddie Borden published in that magazine. All it says in them is Ratings for the Month. I did a google search and best answer I came up with they were for rankings as of the month before the magazine edition they were in. So I have the December 1954 edition. Can anyone here tell me if they know pretty certain if the rankings shown in that December 1954 edition would be for fights completed in November or think they would be for October like Ring Magazine?
BTW also is this the same Eddie Bordon who did the Fistic Market column in Ring Magazine in the 1930s or a different Eddie Bordon?
