MID-SEASON STUFF AND TOP PROSPECTS
  • Chris Hanson, taken 1st overall this year, went straight from the U. of Memphis to Oklahoma City. He's hitting .357/.400/.452 through 12 games with a HR and 4 RBI and he's now the IBL's #1 ranked prospect.
  • We dropped to 10th overall with our top prospect Luis Maya (IF) at #9. Last years 1st overall pick Mike Johnson dropped to 88th. Our top pick in this years draft, P Luis Ornelas is already at #32. 2011 pick Catcher Troy Zehnder is 82nd while Japanese teenager Yoseikazu Suzuki arrives at 83.

CHICAGOS FARM SYSTEM
There is some good news here. We've gone from 8 of the top 200 to this year where we have 14 of the top 200
Our ranking/IBL rank

Really need to dig at years end on this stuff as I think we should have more high end talent than we do. Maybe I am missing something, that or my head scout did.
