Iron pigs in june

  • Clearly, the offense is more than adequate, and I'd argue far better than one might expect in year one of an expansion team.
  • 2nd in the NL in Avg (.265) 4th in OBP (.323) 4th in Runs (.365). The offense hits its way on. They're 12th in walks and 1st in K's.
  • Wanna point to something that is the leading indicator of a 33-49 record?
  • Look no farther than the mound.
  • 16th in ERA (4.81) Starters ERA (5.04) Runs allowed (424) and walks (328). 14th in Bullpen ERA (4.42).
  • The lack of control staff wide is the biggest hole.
  • That's also not a problem I can solve or make better right now.
