There is no remedy in the organization. Going to have to tolerate and hope for the SP to just get “better” somehow.

Nate Gross comes off the IR and Luis Artino is optioned back to New Orleans after this horrific performance. OF Mike White is hurt early in the game, no word yet.
5/25- OFF DAY White has a sore hamstring and should be fine in a day or two.

We were 1-9 coming into the last 2 days so this was a nice finish to the week. Nowhere near good enough overall but gotta find the silver lining.

NL POTW- 2B Eric Eastman (LV) 10-22 HR 8 RBI

On Friday 1st place Brooklyn lost SP Mike Mitchell to a torn labrum. They're saying 4 months, but I don't see it.

MINOR LEAGUE HIGHLIGHTS
CF Jimmy Young of Albuquerque is tearing up single A pitching. On Wednesday he went 5-5 hitting his league leading 17th HR in an 11-9 win. In 35 games he's slashing .320/.420/.789 with 47 RBI's. He's just 19 and the urge to move him up is placated by the organizational approach of patience with the young talent. He was a minor league FA signing and not someone our scouts rate as a top prospect, giving him a 2-star potential. Would like to be shocked on this one.
