Amador Claims NL Rookie of the Month
In a season already brimming with promise, Colorado’s emerging infield talent Adael Amador added another highlight to his résumé today, being named the National League Rookie of the Month for the 3rd time this season. The 21-year-old capped September with a confident, well-rounded offensive surge, batting .290 while launching seven home runs and driving in 24 runs.
Amador’s poise has been one of the club’s brightest storylines. Throughout the year, he has showcased a mature, disciplined swing that belies his age, and the numbers reflect that consistency: a .316 season average, 104 runs batted in, 25 home runs, and 121 runs scored. Those totals place him firmly among the most productive first-year players in franchise history.
