Mookie is a bad example. He came up through the minors as a 2B so his experience was extensive. It was the OF he learned in 2014-ish. IL groundballs are not experience at the MLB level. I think you take the lumps. He won't be terrible as he has IF ratings... he just needs to gain experience and those in-game lumps are akin to real life.
