Actually those who play random debut need pre-calc. The present purpose of auto-calc is to fix the SB error that occurs when coaching is on. Otherwise it's just a tool to satisfy the notion of some people that every league regardless of strategy settings or talent should produce historic output. I don't know why people bought the idea Babe Ruth should share his HRs. I guess once someone established a reputation he can sell anything to the ill informed masses.

Mel Ott hit 685 home runs in my current random debut league. I guess he would have hit 810 if he wasn't sharing his home runs
