Friends…YES another roster set to excite you and all your baseball needs during the hot stove season. This one I am SUPER EXCITED FOR. I leveraged a respected projection system Steamer and the 2026 projected stats to load in ratings.

- Roster set LOADED with 2026 Steamer projections!!! Over 9,000 players!

- Steamer R/L splits loaded for both batters and pitchers

- I used the “context neutral” Steamer projections so players do not receive the “double boost” from extreme parks like Coors, Great American Ballpark, etc

- Top 100 prospects calibrated with new system

- Top 30 prospects for every team calibrated

- Updated injuries

- Roster transactions accurate as of 1/22/26

- Updated MLB draft order based on lottery results announced 12/10

- 2025 Rule 5 draft selections (I've also moved the next R5 draft to be 2026 so not running twice)

- 2025 Rule 4 (minor league) draft selections

- Game date advanced to start of preseason (Mid January) so I can load the accurate 2026 MLB schedule

- Any trades/signings up to 1/22/26

- Top 100+ International Free Agents rated and placed on projected team per Baseball America

- Top 300-ish 2026 draft prospects rated per scouting reports Baseball America. Many of the lower HS players did not list birthdate so they have a default of 1/1/2008. For pitchers, the pitch mix and velocity may be off. With my database I focus more on stuff/movement/control.

- All arbitration amounts settled on 1/8 entered. If team and player did not settle, I’ve selected the player’s amount by default.

- Enable AI teams to make moves

Other notes on the roster:

- Ratings are even more conservative overall than my previous projects. For instance “contact” a ton of 40-55 ratings. K rating for batters more of a range of 30-55. That’s not a bad thing, and honestly is probably more realistic
