Now all Shane needs to do to save his own ass is upset Texas A&M in College Station next Saturday, get the two gimmes (College of Charleston, Clemson) to climb from 3-6 to 6-6, become bowi-eligible, and win the bowl game. Which still might not be enough, considering that the 'Cocks started the season ranked #13 and climbed into the Top Ten after beating Virginia Tech to start the season.
The good news for Beamer is that the Hokies/Gobblers have been keeping the seat warm for Shane after firing Brent Pry earlier this year.
