I still don't get what happened, though. This is in an article from today:

The incident took place shortly after midnight Friday night, when Sanchez was alleged to have approached a 69-year-old man in an alley between two hotels in an apparent dispute over the man’s truck, which was parked by a loading dock. According to a probable cause affidavit filed by the prosecutor’s office, the man works for a company that specializes in commercial cooking oil recycling and disposal and was “performing his assigned duties when he was encountered by Mr. Sanchez.”
The altercation turned physical, prosecutors said, and the man used pepper spray on Sanchez before “Sanchez suffered injuries consistent with being stabbed.” Police said the other man received lacerations.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Sanchez told a detective who interviewed him at the hospital that “he did not know who did this to him or where it happened.”
Police reviewed video footage from the hotels and said Sanchez could be seen throwing the man to the ground at one point. They also said they talked to the man, identified as P.T. in the affidavit, and that he said Sanchez smelled of alcohol and that his speech was slurred.

Okay, so say he was drunk or stoned. Even so, some part of one's rational mind is still functioning in the background, so there had to be something that prompted his reaction. But he is a Fox Sports broadcaster. What would he care, sober or falling down drunk, where a cooking oil recycler parked his truck? Maybe he was blocking Sanchez's car?
