I don't believe Detroit made decisions to win. I believe their success is in hindsight. It just worked out. I question the decision to go for it on 4th and 2 from mid field up by 7. Mainly because Lamar was having issues late in the game. I don't think the Lions had anything to fear by punting. If they didn't get it on 4th, they give the Ravens a chance to tie with good field position. Just my opinion.

I was mainly referring to the defense. I thought the 4th quarter adjustments clearly caught Lamar off guard. They kept him @ the LOS & resulted in a number of sacks. This after the Ravens were moving up & down the field as well as the Lions.

I agree 100%. Flacco should not be playing at all. See what you have with your rookies. Flacco is not making you a contender. What I believe this to be is a coach looking to save his job by putting the QB out there that gives them the best chance to win. That's not always how you move your team forward. He's thinking about himself, not the team.
