More on a realistic and maybe possible level, everything you said, really wish the game would track MOY Award history, and also in each team history, keep track who was GM and who was Manager, when they were hired/fired/retired.

This, which I have been pushing for so long now even I am sick of the sound of my own voice on the subject.
In lieu thereof, a more robust and customisable tracking of all-time / single-season stats leaders, with a dedicated focus on any such chases, would be a great start.
It would only work, however, if you also had the ability to set the leaderboard timeframe manually, to eradicate the pre-1901 guys if so desired.
