Framber Valdez brought his best to help Houston beat the Kansas City Royals, 6-1. Houston improved to 70-64 with the win. Valdez allowed 3 hits over 9 innings for the Astros. With the win, Valdez moves to 13-10 on the season with 196 strikeouts. Framber attacked the strike zone and threw good pitches when it mattered.
We got some good innings from Marsh, but again, just couldn't get over the hump with the offense, especially against a guy like Framber Valdez. He was in the zone tonight.
