Yes, I think long term these kind of interactions can really introduce more life and flavour.
Like the other forum member here who has made all of these historical coaches for use in the game, it would be great to see these coaching personalities be proactive and communicate with you their suggestions, even, especially if you didn't ask them.
Could be triggered by multiple things going on an injury to a starter, protracted poor form, ageing, decline, or the opposite, a player knocking down the door for promotion or getting interest from other club scouts even or discontent with their role.
These proactive coach interactions is could also act as cues that you might want to look at something that's going on in your organisation (like examples above) or universe.
