Ty johnson was the star of the game, allowing just 2 er in 5.2 ip. Johnson came out of the game in the 6th after surrendering a hr to gonzalez. Kelly entered the game and allowed a run over 1.1 ip, before hoffman and hentges finsihed off the game with 2 scoreless innings.

Trailing 1-0 in the 5th, mclain led off the inning with a double and was plated on a single by 1b pete brace. After a single by beltre, roman anthony drove in brace with a double.
