Boston Red Sox starter Kutter Crawford delivered a top-tier performance against the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium. The Red Sox secured a 7-1 victory. Crawford allowed just 1 run over 7 innings to earn the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 6-9. The Red Sox's winning streak is now three games. Boston benefited from a well-timed hit by Tyler O'Neill to seal the victory. The left fielder hit a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to give the Red Sox an early lead, 3-0. Although it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was crucial. "I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Crawford.

We did not get a good start from Alec Marsh and that set the pace for the rest of the game. However, Caleb Ferguson came out in relief in the 6th and pitched 3.0 no hit innings with 5 strikeouts. It’s 1 game, but I want to say he was a great waiver pick up from the Yankees.
