Spring Training

It is a challenging Spring performance wise for the Giants as they go 10-14, with only the Diamondbacks performing worse in the National League.

The first round of Spring cuts was mostly non-roster invites although 2050 6th round pick 1B Luis Morales, 2051 1st rounder 2B Beau Wartel, 2051 2nd rounder Jovaugh McCarron, and 2051 11th round RP Kymani Devezin were all players added to the 40-man in the offseason who failed to do enough to stick around for the last two weeks of the Spring.

Development Lab

Gregorio Garza has completed his training in the development complex, and as you are aware, he has been working with staff to improve his outfield defense.

Juan Mendoza has completed his training in the development complex, and as you are aware, he has been working with staff to generate more batspeed and homerun power.

There were two solid prospect promotions from the International Complex as 2054 Scouting Discovery SP David Salazar was promoted, along with 2055 International Amateur SS Frank Camarena.
