A heartbreaker as McClanahan took a no-hitter into the 7th and the Rays took a 2-0 lead into the 9th before Fairbanks gave up a 2-run homer to Willy Adames to lose the lead and Cleavinger gave up a 2-run homer in the 10th to lose the game.
Game 3:
Rays turned the tables on the Giants to salvage the finale, scoring 3 times in the bottom of the 11th after falling behind 2-0 in the top of the inning.
Carson Williams had his biggest hit* as a Ray, singling in the winning run after
Jonah Heim tied it with his first Rays RBI.
*Biggest regular season hit, Williams did have two homers in last year's World Series in which he made his debut.
