The Philadelphia Phillies owner had to step down due to time constraints. The Phillies have the #1 pick in the upcoming rookie draft so I'd like to get the position filled before we start the draft. We are entering the 1946 season and the incoming rookie crop includes Yogi Berra, Del Ennis, Carl Furillo, Ralph Kiner, Bobby Thompson, and fan favorite Joe Garagiola.
In addition, this team has some good looking prospects that includes 17 yr old Joe Nuxhall and 18 yr old Billy Pierce. A good team for someone looking for a rebuilding challenge.
