Cincinnati Reds Series (1-3)
Game 1: Reds 4 Rockies 2
The trip began with a 4-2 loss to the Reds. Cincinnati's Sid Bream hit a crucial 3-run home run in the 5th inning, putting the Reds ahead for good.

Game 2: Reds 5 Rockies 4:
The Rockies suffered another close loss, 5-4. Jose Rijo pitched well for Cincinnati, and Chris Sabo and Joe Branson hit key home runs for the Reds.

Game 3: Rockies 5 Reds 4
Colorado secured their only win of the series, 5-4. Sandy Alomar Jr.'s 2-run double in the second inning was a pivotal hit, and Jack Armstrong earned the save.
