MLB news: August 25 -- Twins' Matt Wallner and Cards' Drew Rom are hit with suspensions
St. Louis Cardinals relief pitcher Drew Rom and Minnesota Twins outfielder Matt Wallner have both suspended after they engaged in fisticuffs following a hit-by-pitch during the Twins' 9-3 victory on August 25.
Wallner charged the mound after Rom hit him with a pitch in the sixth inning following a home run by Minnesota's Royce Lewis.
Rom will have to sit for two games. Wallner will be out for four.
