When simming five years I don't see that behaviour at all. Yes there are players drafted and signed with one original team but the few that are released are typical three years after the draft and more. Looked at first rounders.
New standard save, no live start and the draft from 2025 IRL is not imported (if that matters / don't know the exact terminology for that feature)

I'm curious Pontus if you have roster limits in the minors? That may be the issue here...i have roster limits in the minors and saw recently drafted players get released however that was before the patch.
