Let's roll...
The Rays' Cinderella post-season run continued with a Game 1 win at George M. Steinbrenner Field over the Dodgers, and like so many times in these playoffs they fell behind early then had a big inning to turn the game around. Down 2-0 and with Blake Snell dealing for the opponent in a Series game this time, they got things going in a big 4th inning which saw them score all six of their runs as Snell completely lost the plate. That's something he's wont to do at times as Rays fans will attest, and his four straight walks including a pair with the sacks full were bookended by 2-run singles from
Jonathan Aranda and
Junior Caminero. Shane McClanahan wasn't his best but the bullpen most certainly was, holding LA off the board with a 2-run lead over the final 4 innings while collectively fanning 8. Now
Drew Rasmussen will try to get us to LA up 2-0 tomorrow.
