Starting pitcher Brady Singer was a major factor in the 3-2 Kansas City Royals triumph over the Seattle Mariners. The win puts Kansas City at 18-27. Kansas City used the timely hitting of Hunter Renfroe to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Royals on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer
