In a 180 from yesterday the Rays scored early and often and outslugged Boston to even up the ALDS heading back to Tropicana Field. A 5-run first capped by
Christopher Morel's 2-run homer and some more runs tacked on thereafter gave Tampa Bay breathing room to survive an uncharacteristically poor start from
Taj Bradley, who gave up 6 runs in 5 innings. Fortunately the bullpen held and offense kept tacking on with everyone in the lineup getting a least one hit or one RBI.
Ryan Pepiot will try to put the Rays up in the series in a couple of days.
