Difficulties are more interesting than being wildly successful
I couldn't make a post nearly as fun as this one with a runaway first place team. I'm in second place.
My SPs keep the games close. When I get a lead, they give it back.
My RPs have great ERAs. They shut the door after the inherited runners score.
I'm leading the NL with 688 runs scored... 7 in clutch situations.
Yet the real reason for being in second place is that I'm 3-10 against the first place team.
And I've done this with four starting position players combining to miss two seasons worth of games!
(It's a lot more interesting since I bumped up short term injuries.)
