Clancy, stalwart on some very bad early Blue Jays teams and eventually a 1982 All-Star,
passed away at age 69. He was 2nd to Dave Stieb in several Toronto all-time pitching categories.

Clancy went on to pitch for Houston and in mid-1991 was traded to Atlanta, finishing off his career with 3 relief appearances in the World Series.

Cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
