I'd actually like to know how many F2P players are actually in the PeL. I have a feeling that number is far lower than what you're making it out to be here. The ones in PeL maybe lucked out with a seriously good pack pull worth 1M PP.
My best pulls have been from Spotlight packs, pulled a George Brett and a Whitey Ford two packs in a row. Also, pretty sure I was the first to sell my Chris Sale card at a huge price, then bought it back almost 400K PP lower a week and a half later. Only time I've ever made a good haul from playing the market. But even with those, I'm still struggling to compete at LD, especially with the influx of new missions in the last couple of weeks that absolutely favors people with tons of PP saved up.

This is one of the most fair microtransaction games out there. The fact that you can be a free to play player and compete with paying players isn't something you see in all of these kind of games. If you didn't get enough advantage for paying, nobody would pay, and i think this finds a good middle ground of time saving but allows those who are willing to put in the effort to match up with them.
