This might belong in the Logo/Mods section but I feel like it's a bigger discussion. I'm a graphic designer so this might be a personal issue. But looking at the minor leagues in saves, i've noticed a lot of logos that are incorrect or just super old. Which is kind of weird since there's clearly some sort of license deal to run them in the first place, and having to go through mods or personally uploading seems like an unnecessary step since it's a vanilla game.
Some examples I cherry picked, but are not exclusive to:
Frisco Roughriders (rebranded in 2015) but the uniforms are current.
NW Arkansas Naturals (rebranded in 2024)
Kane County Cougars (cap logo from 2014 that doesn't match)
Bowling Green Hot Rods (cap logo from 2015 that doesn't match)
Yolo High Wheelers have the logo scaled incorrectly and it's all squished
Another issue I've seen is teams not having a cap logo
Beloit Sky Carp, Sugar Land Space Cowboys and the OKC Comets come to mind. On the standings page, they might as well not have a logo since it's so small and cluttered at that scale.
I can think of the Syracuse Mets cap logo being super small in comparison to the rest of the teams. Also the Florida State League has black borders around their circular logo.
Like I said, maybe it's me. If there was a reason, i would understand. I just figure this would be the easiest update to do year over year and they selectively update them when teams DO move or rebrand. Independent league teams logos are harder to source at a reasonable size or clarity - but if the licensing is there for MILB I don't understand the inconsistency in updates.
I just wanted to flag the attention to detail because it's something that is not attended to unless absolutely necessary. I would love to help out if needed, and if I didn't enrage the powers that might see this. I enjoy doing graphics for this game, I just wish we had what was most current for a yearly release.
