Trading difficulty certainly matters..but it depends just how competitive you want the AI to be. You can still find good deals to be had on this setting..but you will be tasked to find them. I think the combination of trade settings you use might be the key. For instance if you use the “make this work now” option I’d be using a higher difficulty..if not, you can probably not be too afraid to lower the difficulty without much fear of you finding a way to “game” the AI. Personally if not use the “make this work” function but still like the “shop player” function with a difficulty around 16 or 17
