Might be anecdotal, but I've found that a lower rated groundball, especially extreme groundball, pitcher will perform better than a flyball, especially extreme flyball, pitcher who's rated much higher. Which, makes sense as more flyballs mean more extra base hits, including home runs. I actually avoid flyball pitchers as much as I can for this reason.
