KC Top Prospects
The Royals have five of the top 20 prospects in baseball, and four of them are at AAA or the MLB level. There is a strong mix of players throughout the system with another year of progress expected.
MLB Top Prospects
It might be a down year for rookies with none of the top five prospects close to the Major Leagues although both the 6th and 7th ranked player will open in MLB, including Mike Gronkiewicz from the Royals.
MLB Farm Systems
The Royals remain at the top of the tree when it comes to the farm system although the Diamondbacks continue to push them with an impressive collection of prospects, including the top ranked prospect in baseball. Behind those two teams, there are a further three team topping 100 points, including the Royals AL Central rival Cleveland Guardians.
