This sounds a bit contrived, and to what end? In real baseball, challenges exist to correct mistakes. In OOTP, there are no mistakes because the game already knows the correct outcome. To make challenges work, the game would have to create fake errors just for show, which undercuts the whole idea of a simulation. It might add a moment of "drama", but it would be manufactured and meaningless.
