OTOH, you don't want to sacrifice too much in the Stuff and Control ratings. These can be more forgiving depending on your league level because the cards they'll face in lower-level leagues are overall much worse in terms of BABIP and Eye. Also, be aware that pitchers with even or reverse splits are better as starting pitchers than guys who clobber same-handed hitters.

For hitters, it's primarily Power and Eye, although guys with very high BABIP can make up for low Power rates by getting on base, especially if they have good Gap Power and Eye. Here, you don't want to sacrifice too much in terms of strikeouts (low Avoid K) or low BABIP, although the three-true-outcome types can still be productive producing slash lines of .230/.330/.460.

And then, there's defense. Always look for high Range ratings, especially in center field and middle infield. PBABIP only works if you've got guys who can get to the balls in play. The only positions where you can "punt" on defense are first base, left field, and third base (to a lesser extent). Middle infielders should also have good Turn DP ratings.
i disagree about the hitting entirely, especially in league where power has been compressed a ton. you don't want very low power but high power doesn't really play up at all. eye imo is my least prioritized stat, specially of those that have big power, because you have fewer chances to hit home runs because of the order of operations.
