I don't have a problem with using $$ to better my team and not being able to carry it over year to year - BUT - I do have a problem that we are all (whales, small investors, and F2P) compete for a single prize (Perfect League).

This design basically vacuums out the F2P folks in 3 months, the small investors in 6 months, and leaves the whales to play as long as they are getting something for their large investments.

Yes, yes, yes - I know as well as others that some F2P player make it to the top - but most people with other things to do in life don't have the time to spend their lives in front of the computer. There should be a way for small investors and F2P players to have some level of satisfaction so they, too, can play all year if they want to.

My suggestion would be have three levels of investment. You don't have to publish how much anyone pays, just divide the entire group into three levels; top 3rd, middle 3rd, and bottom third of money spent. Give each group its own pyramid... maybe Iron & Bronze (group 1), Silver & Gold (group 2), and Diamond & perfect (group 3). That way, you play with folks who are invested as much as you are.

This year I spent $100. Maybe that or something more would place me in the middle group (Silver & Gold) and I could compete all year for as many Gold championships I could manage. If I decided to spend more, I would move up to the top group and would compete for the Perfect League. If I was an F2P player, I could compete for Bronze trophies till my heart was content.

I know it's unlikely such major changes would be undertaken, but without some sort of "leveling" the only folks who will play this game (PT) for a full year will be the ones that invest the most. So be it I guess.
