Pan-American Baseball League (PABL) Recruitment

We excited to announce a new league called the Pan-American Baseball League (PABL), and are looking for inaugural members to design their own franchise from the ground up. We will start with an inaugural draft in which players will keep service time from previous major leagues. We will be playing on OOTP 26 and our community will be on Discord. General Managers can choose the team location and branding as long as it is within reasonable limits. Please feel welcome to reach out if you are interested!


General Information:

• Region: North America and Caribbean


• Total Teams: 24 teams (Two sub-leagues: Federal and Constitutional, each with two divisions of 6 teams)


• Season Length: 162-game schedule


• Simulation Schedule: Daily sims (~7 in-game days), typically between 9-11 PM EST


• Communication: Discord


• Management Tool: Stats+

Player Evaluation & Development:

• Rating Scale: 20–80 scale for player evaluations


• Overall/Potential Ratings: Hidden to encourage in-depth scouting


• Player Development Lab: Enabled (Size 10), detailed player progress emails provided


• Talent Change Randomness: 105

Roster Structure:

• MLB: 26 active players, 40-man secondary roster


• AAA: 28 players (no age restriction)


• AA: 28 players (max age: 25)


• A & SA: 30 players (max age: 24)


• Rookie League: Unlimited roster size (max age: 23)

League Rules & Settings:

• Universal DH: Enabled


• Injury Frequency: Normal, delayed diagnosis occasionally


• Player Fatigue: High


• Suspensions: Enabled (normal frequency)


• Chemistry and Morale: Enabled, coaching chemistry impact set to
minimal


• Financial Structure: No salary cap, Luxury Tax at 20% over 140%
league average payroll

Contract & Free Agency:

• Max Contract Length: 10 years


• Options per Contract: Maximum 2 team OR 2 player options (no
vesting options)


• Minimum Salary: $720,000


• Free Agency Eligibility: After 6 MLB service years


• Arbitration Eligibility: After 3 MLB service years (Super 2 enabled)


• No long term extensions allowed until 3 years of MLB service time

Draft & Trading:

• Amateur Draft: 20 rounds, lottery for bottom 6 teams, held February 1


• Draft Trading: Disabled


• Trading Deadline: July 31


• Salary Retention: Up to 50% allowed per trade

Playoff Structure:

• Playoff Teams: 6 total (3 per sub-league), no Wild Card round


• Playoff Series: Best-of-7 for all rounds (Division, Championship, World Series)

Team Customization:

• Team Name, Logo & Colors: Fully customizable


• Stadium Dimensions: Customizable within MLB realistic ranges


• Relocation: Allowed within Canada, the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean

Participation Points:

• Earned via league activities (season surveys, ballots, playoff appearances, World Series wins, etc.)


• Spend points on nicknames, retired player coaches, personality edits, stadium modifications, rebranding, and relocation
