I just want this game to remain playable in long games. I'm in 2032 and I just picked up the eventual Norris Trophy winner on waivers after the trade deadline and then had to choose which 1.5 star potential prospect I wanted in the second round.
The quality of the draft classes once you get past the real world prospects has always been an issue, and they made a big deal about how they worked on it in one of the prerelease Youtube videos this year, but my god it has not improved at all. And the fact that you can build a borderline playoff team just from waiver claims after the preseason.
