  I want to believe that.
The 2026 NFL Draft Quarterback Class Is Worth Waiting for
But to get one of the best, we will have to go through another 3-14 season or worse. And then what. We decide an OT is a better idea for our top pick, so the cycle goes on another year?
The problems with the Giants and Jets picks is this: EVERYTHING STARTS WITH THE QB. You build the team around him, not the other way around. That even supersedes defense. Offense comes first because you need to score points.
The Giants could have gotten a decent pass rusher and the Jets a good offensive tackle later in the draft. The guys they got are very good but will have only a limited,
limited impact on team fortunes. A competitive team has to have a good quarterback and both teams have scrubs instead.
