Player of the Month: Lars Nootbaar -- The 26-year-old first baseman/outfielder hit .288 with six home runs, 12 RBIs and 21 runs scored in 26 games. He got on base at a .398 clip and slugged .519.
Starting Pitcher of the Month: Quinn Matthews -- The 24-year-old left-hander went 4-0 in six starts with a 2.60 ERA. Named NL Rookie of the Month, Matthews pitched 34.2 innings, during which he struck out 33 and posted a 0.92 WHIP.
Relief Pitcher of the Month: Ryan Helsley -- The 30-year-old closer got into 11 games going 0-1 with nine saves and a 0.90. He pitched a total of 10.0 innings, during which he struck out 13 and had 1.00 WHIP.
