I am not an expert on Range and Fielding Percentage, but have seen posts that say the following:
Range is more important than Fielding Pct.
A player with A range and .960 FPct is better than an E range with .980 percentage.
An A range might get to 50 more balls per season and yet make only 2 more errors.
Do a search on "Range" and get better and more specific info on this subject.
Just because a player has "0" in batting ratings or passed ball ratings does not mean they will have "0" in the game...they will have something close or in the ballpark to their ratings.
A player with a 1.000 fielding average could make some errors.
