In an online league, if you import rosters from OOTP 25 to OOTP 26, all the rostered players in the league are on the "correct" teams, in relation to the league (prior to offseason moves), but they carry over their ratings from the previous version as well.

If you don't import rosters, and start a "new" league, the ratings reflect OOTP 26, but none of the players would be on the correct teams for the league. The league settings wouldn't be there, etc.

When you ask people how to import your roster from the previous year, AND update the ratings to reflect the latest software, you get a LOT of replies as to having to do all of this through a word document, excel, etc.

With all the features in OOTP, I'm disappointed that this isn't a simple button you can hit in your league settings.

You import your entire league to the new year, go to league settings, and hit UPDATE 2025 Projections, Ratings, or whatever you want to call it.

It would also automatically populate the "new" additions to the game, someone like Roki Sasaki.

Alas, based on the replies I've seen so far here, and other places, its VERY cumbersome to simply import rosters AND update ratings, no matter which way you choose to go.

I was hopeful I was just missing something on my end, but apparently not. I can't believe software with online capability would overlook something like this. If you want your customers to buy new software every year, this SHOULD be on the short list of things to fix, IMO.
