Another challenging image to work on, I suspect. This is another image extracted from a team photo. The team photo in this case being of the 1924 St. Louis Cardinals and it depicts Jack Berly in his initial season. The 21 year old right handed pitcher finished the 4 games he appeared in relief in 1924.
He did not appear again in the Majors until 1931 when he pitched over 100 innings for the New York Giants. He posted a 7-8 record with a 3.88 ERA.
In 1932 and 1933 he appeared in a combined total of 34 games including 7 starts with the Philadelphia Phillies.
