What is the issue on errors in an imported game?

I imported my game the day after WS was completed and the day before offseason started. I am only in early December, so not hard to go back. If one hasn't started a season will autocalc still give expected (for lack of a better word) stats? Or would/could there be a continuing problem moving ahead in a game that doesn't restart?
