W: Peu Chokehike (1-0) L: Chiamo Wirilen (0-3)
PotG: Fekiu Imatsa (HOK) - 3-4, 2B, HR(5), BB, 5 RBI, 3 R

One of the wildest games I can remember seeing. 30 hits, 16 walks, 4 hit batters, and 2 errors produced 33 runs. Hokrof batters hit 5 home runs; Fampalo runners stole 5 bases. Hokrof led by as many as 5 runs, while Fampalo blew 4 different leads before walking it off. Hokrof fans will have felt that Ouler Tuemole's grand slam in the 7th inning, which made it 15-10, was the death blow, but a pair of dink-and-dunk rallies tied the game again for Fampalo. Pinch-hitter Kiucha Lopelo broke the deadlock for Hokrof with a home run, but Fampalo won the game without making an out on 3 singles to tie, a HBP to load the bases, and the walkoff single by Tyzhite.

Round 9:
...Akashemo 3-2 Keleri - 4-3, 6-4, 2-6, 2-5, 3-2(10)

...Westline 1-4 Tsapna - 1-3, 3-6, 3-5, 8-4(10), 0-3

Kupore 10, Amnanache 1: Kupore SP Rattio Ayawetsi throws a real gem, pitching into the 9th inning and allowing just an unearned run in that 9th inning. Only 1 strikeout for the 19-year-old but effective nonetheless.

Round 10:
..Sh.Eagles 3-2 Mithazni - 13-11(10), 1-3, 5-3, 12-4, 4-7
.....Lutrul 4-1 Akashemo - 3-2(10), 8-1, 6-2, 10-1, 4-6
Mighty Oaks 1-4 Pasataki - 3-4, 3-14, 4-7, 3-6, 18-1

Shunna Eagles 13, Mithazni 11: a game that was also under consideration for a weekly feature. The Eagles jumped out to an 8-0 lead behind their top pitcher, Toe Kachefe, and when he exited the score was 8-2. Mithazni got a solo homer to get one back in the 7th, then with two out in the 8th and one on, six straight hitters in gold reached base, enough to give the hosts a 9-8 lead. Teriwoma Etoso tied the game with a 9th-inning leadoff homer, then both teams staged 10th inning rallies. Mithazni had two runs in and the tying runs in scoring position in the bottom of the 10th, only to see Eagles pitcher Lolerera Humeiwa, newly installed as the closer, strike out three straight to seal the win.

Pasataki Galaxy 14, Mighty Oaks 3: Another monster game for Galaxy SS Atsi Keana, who retakes the EL lead in RBI with this two-homer, 8 RBI performance. Keana had an early RBI single that tied the game, hit a grand slam his second time up, and added a 3-run shot in the 8th inning that sealed up this win over the champs. The Galaxy would win four straight against Mighty Oaks before a series finale they'd rather forget.

Mighty Oaks 18, Pasataki Galaxy 5, and Sitache 12, National 6: two 3-homer performances on the same day, as Oaks 1B Somp Awia and National CF Solo Sipet become the first pair of EL players in over two years to hit 3 HR on the same day. Very different outcomes, as Awia drove in 7, scored an additional run, and saw his team win by seventeen runs, while Sipet got very little help today in a game where his team got crushed.

This is shaping up to be quite an interesting race so far, with the season nearly a third of the way over. Cheshek now hold a slim lead, and this week even saw fellow underdogs Kepmem jumping back up toward the top. Speaking of which, those two will face off for the first time in 2025 this coming week, alongside the year's first Aroketsil derby and an interesting Pasataki-Keleri matchup.
