It is likely that what directory you are trying to install and run from does not have write permissions.

I'm using it with my own admin account because it's my own PC, but I've set write permissions for all users and tried again. But the symptoms haven't changed at all. Also, I'd like to inform you that I've never had any issues with any other programs regarding write permissions.
I went into the local folder where the game was installed and tried running the ottp26.exe file with administrator privileges, but only the same phenomenon is repeated.
I'm worried I'll look like a grumpy person, but I've been very much looking forward to this OOTP26, and I strongly hope to enjoy it on PC.
