I had 1871 open and tried to import the 1978 Red Sox from the Teams.csv file and got the team and 30 players (though I was concerned for a sec b/c I forgot the roster size was 15 in 1871 and half the team was on the reserve roster!).
Any details on the set-up or particular team that didn't work? I'll keep trying to replicate it.
