I had an idea of a good compromise with regards to combinators. When I was card collecting as a kid, there were those in "mint" condition that were seemingly worth more than those with the picture or border not perfectly even, especially the older cards. Perhaps with every non-live you could also pull a "mint condition" card with a boost to the attributes. No leveling up, no sacrificing a ton of money or cards to do it, and no huge, unfair boost to the stats, but a nice little bonus to the card when it's in "mint" condition. Just an idea, anything to get away from this current combinator system.

Also, sorry but I quit playing a month or so ago when the frustration got too much to handle, but is there any word on combinators for next year?
