Attached is an image for Wid Matthews with the 1924 Washington Senators. His career got off to a highly promising start becoming the lead-off batter and starting centre-fielder in his debut year with the 1923 Philadelphia Athletics. However subsequent to that his career comprised of 2 years with the Senators as a back-up outfielder.
