Yet another month of 16-10 and our lead is now 6. Feels good. The Phillies and Expos are tied for 1st, so that could be fun to watch. The Jays lost their last 9 of the month and so the Sox are now up by 5 in the AL East. In the West, the Twins have opened up a 3 1/2 game lead on the A's.
Ken Griffey Jr has a chance at the AL Triple Crown as he leads in home runs and RBI's and is 5th in batting. In the NL, Larry Walker leads in batting and is in the top 5 in home runs and RBI's and Roger Clemens is on pace to win the pitching Triple Crown in the NL.
We are now 1st in pitching and 2nd in runs scored, so we are rounding into shape and are healthy.
