Oh, that's weird. I just tried the pisd site again without the waybackmachine and it's back up and running again. When I tried Cod's link earlier it was down and so I assumed the site was dead. |
It's too bad. TBCB is an utterly unique game. Guys are STILL rating fighters down in the TBCB forum. But one by one, old computers will die, and fewer and fewer of us will be able to continue our exciting TBCB universes.
There were a lot of problems with TBCB 2013. Still, even a flawed game might be better than nothing. I'm willing to buy it again, but I feel nervous about inputting my credit card information on a website of a dead company.
If Paul has no interest in keeping the game alive, maybe OOTP could buy it back for a nominal sum. I'm sure many of us old timers would be willing to pay for it again, so their investment would not be lost.
